 WANTS : SLATE DOOR THRESHOLD
I am looking for slate door thresholds. i need two approximately 800mm long or if the price is reasonable i will replace all my exiting and would need 4 lengths of 1000mm and 2 lengths of 1100mm.
I have found suitable material in my local salvage yard although i have been quoted extremely high prices for the cutting and bull nosing. The suitable material i found was old snooker table bases.
Slate is 46mm thick 275mm wide (including the bull nose)

WANTS : TOPSOIL WANTED
I need some topsoil for my garden! I live in a council property and unfortunately they cannot provide me with any help, topsoil or turf!!!
I need around 1.5 - 2 tonnes so that I can level the ground and seed a new lawn. I cannot afford to buy topsoil but I can pay a small fee to cover delivery. I would be very grateful if anybody in or near the colchester area could help me.

WANTS : NEW WORLD 42 COOKER
I have a much loved New World 42 cooker which I bought reconditioned in 1970s. I have a problem in that the door handle has come off and I am unable to get behind the door panel to replace it. Does anyone have either a door, with handle, or can advise me in how I can access the fixings. Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I wish to continue using the cooker which I find so much better and pleasurable to use than any modern cooker.

I need approximately 2 square metres of oak parquet blocks to repair an area of a 1950's living room which is laid in herringbone pattern. The blocks I need will measure 9 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 3/4 inches deep with a tongue on one long side and a groove to the remaining three sides. I will consider any slightly larger blocks e.g. 10 inches by 3 inches by 3/4 inch for cutting down to size.
